Swim Team
Sycamore Hills Swim Club offers a swim team program for members and non-members. Our program focuses on technique to improve overall strokes, turns, starts, and finishes while having fun. We are committed to any level of swimmer, from the beginner who is being introduced to the sport, to the year-round athlete. The SHSC team competes in several meets around the Columbus area through the NEW League (North-East-West) affiliation.
We ask that participants be familiar with several swim strokes and are able to swim the length of the pool. While we welcome those new to the sport, there is an expectation that swimmers know some key fundamentals of competitive swimming before participating.
Practices are held several days a week through June and July. Meets are generally held on Wednesday evening with an end of the season Championship meet. We conclude our swim team season with a pool side party and awards ceremony at the end of July or in early August.
